Resize Without Distorting Your Image
The converter preserves the original image aspect ratio.
For example, if an image is 480 × 360 pixels and you change its width to 350 pixels, the height is automatically adjusted to approximately 263 pixels.
This helps prevent images from becoming stretched or distorted.
Reduce File Size
The Quality control can help reduce the size of JPG and WebP images.
A lower quality setting generally creates a smaller file, while a higher setting preserves more image detail.
This can be useful when preparing images for websites, blogs, email, or other situations where smaller files are preferred.
Background Color and Transparent AVIF Images
The Background Color and HEX controls are especially useful when your AVIF image contains transparent areas.
For example, if you convert a transparent image to JPG, transparency cannot be preserved because JPEG does not support an alpha channel. You can choose a background color to fill those transparent areas instead.
For normal photographs with a solid background, changing this setting may not produce a visible difference.
What Does Clear Do?
The Clear button removes the processed image while keeping your original image loaded.
If you change the size or another processing setting afterward, the app can generate the processed image again.
This lets you start over with the output without having to immediately select the original file again.
Original and Processed Preview
The Original and Processed previews stay side by side, making it easy to compare the images without taking up too much space on a phone.
While you scroll through the converter settings, the preview area stays visible so you can see the result of your changes.
Which Output Format Should You Choose?
JPG is a good choice for photographs and situations where broad compatibility and smaller files are important.
PNG is useful when you need lossless output or transparency.
WebP offers good image quality with efficient file sizes and is a good choice for modern websites.
