One not listed here I've found to work great is WooCommerce. I have a few clients running Shopp, it's not so bad. However, quantity pricing is a must for me.

So I made a plugin for Shopp's lack of 'quantity pricing' or 'tiered pricing'. If anyone using Shopp has a need for this, please check my plugin out! Thanks

Thanks for the list! I found your site researching an alternative for wp-ecommerce which has been a massive pain and cost us a lot of time and $$. Lack of support, slow or no responses to forum posts, fix one problem and another pops up with the next update.
I'll be checking out PHPurchase as well as some of the others you mentioned.
Thanks!

Hi Lee,

After reading few blogs about Wordpress shopping cart plugin, you convinced me. I narrowed the selections to 2 candidates, Phpurchase and shopp. I will let my client decided between those two.

My interest here is which one will make my life easier when developing the clients site. We'll see which one will my client choose.

Best,
Justin

P.S. Btw who own this blog? is it Lee? Thanks for the review to whoever owned this.

It would be great to see PHPurchase mentioned here as well. It's a great wordpress ecommerce plugin. You can sell physical products, digital products, and even recurring payments and subscriptions. It's backed by professional support as well. To learn more, check out http://www.PHPurchase.com

A couple of you guys asked which plugin is the best and why. I think PHPurchase is the best (I may be a bit biased as I am also one of the PHPurchase developers). The reason I think it's the best is because PHPurchase integrates in with WordPress better than any other ecommerce plugin available. It does not create it's own posts/pages. Instead, you can simply add the ecommerce features to any WordPress post/page. This means you can use all the other plugins that are available for WordPress - everything from photo gallery plugins to SEO plugins - in conjunction with PHPurchase. Now with custom post types and taxonomies in WordPress you can easily make category displays of your products using the features/functionality already built-in to WordPress. PHPurchase doesn't try to reinvent features that already exist, it just focusses on adding ecommerce to WordPress.

Hi,

I've got a major problem with Shopp. In the product price display the numeral 1 is replaced by a comma: eg if the product price is Rs 1200, it appears as Rs ,200 which is very very misleading. Urgently need your help as I've not got any answer for this problem from SHOPP support
Thanks!
