I would also consider trying out Workgroups. I found it to be a more advanced option in comparison to Basecamp. http://www.metacommunications.com/products/workgroups/

We use Dooster too. It’s a good list. It’s interesting to see what else is out there especially if they work anything as well as the better known ones.

I can only recognise ActivCollab and Zoho from this review and then Intervals, Deskaway and 5pm. The one my boss wanted was Basecamp of course but we got Dooster instead and we’re really pleased with it.

5pmweb seems like decent software though I would also recommend taking a look at Liquid Planner has some unique features such as the implementation of ranges which helps in estimating completion times. What you end up with is more accurate estimation of project completion because each task isn’t limited to being finished at an exact time. Heavens know I’m not always exactly on time, haha.
