I don’t know maybe plugin author fixed this issue but I’ve never had such problems after I stopped using this plugin. I don’t think the plugin is bad by itself but possible problems scared me much.

Just wanted to see if this was ever resolved (if you contacted the plugin author). I just instituted this on a few blogs and saw this in google. Made me nervous at first, but seems there is probably more to this.

Well, I was really shocked that I can’t access my blog and this situation was going for 3 days as I knew now from stat. I thought my blog was hacked! My hosting company told me that some of my scripts made ‘suspicious background activity’ (their words) and they blocked my account because of it.
Since I don’t use any potential dangerous plugins or scripts and had no problems before installing Bad Behavior I thought it was your plugin.
It’s a pity if I’m wrong…

Your hosting company has no idea what they’re talking about.

Bad Behavior is perfectly safe and does not generate anything that could be called “suspicious background activity.”

I would need to know more information in order to determine if Bad Behavior was the real cause of the problem, or if it was your hosting company, or a denial of service attack launched against your site, or some other problem.

But since you didn’t contact me, I couldn’t help you.
